The papers by Lennart Hardell and colleagues published in 2014 and listed below which owe their existence to grant contributions from the Pandora Foundation and other private organizations lead to the conclusion that a carcinogenic impact of mobile phone radiation on humans must be regarded as nearly certain.
Hardell Project 1 Professor Lennart Hardell from the University Hospital in Orebro has already demonstrated an increased brain tumour risk of mobile and cordless phone users in several epidemiological studies. The planned study is to evaluate available data from Swedish men and women who were diagnosed with a brain tumour between 2007 and 2009 – that is about 15 years after the technology has been introduced.
(Completed): Between March 2010 and June 2011 a pilot study was to find out, if possible adverse health effects of residents, who are exposed to an increased radiation from a base tower in their vicinity, can reliably be recorded. The small study clearly showed the prerequisites necessary to reach this goal within an extensive research project.
